What it is

The GoMate is GAC Group's third-generation embodied-intelligence humanoid robot, unveiled on December 26, 2024 at the 2024 China Robot Network Annual Conference. It features an industry-first variable wheel-leg mobility structure that switches between a four-wheel mode (about 1.4 m tall) and a two-wheel mode (up to 1.75 m tall) to handle complex terrain. It has 38 degrees of freedom and integrates GAC's in-house autonomous driving and AI perception technology; it uses more than 80% less energy than comparable products and offers 6 hours of battery life. Its dexterous hand weighs less than 500 g yet can carry 1.5 kg. In April 2025, GAC announced that GoMate was already in use in areas such as security patrol and inspection, and planned small-batch production of the complete robot in 2026. On February 26, 2026, GAC incubated and established Guangdong Huilun Technology Co., Ltd., spinning GoMate off into an independent business, and released the fourth-generation GoMate Mini at the same time.
