On August 17, 2026, Unitree Robotics released a 30-second video showcasing the athletic ability of an all-new humanoid robot named "Superman," which displayed startling performance.
According to official figures, the test unit can jump 2 meters straight up, reaches a top running speed of 12.66 m/s (about 45.6 km/h), and has 0.85 m legs — all surpassing human records for the standing high jump and sprinting speed.
"Superman" is an extreme-mobility test unit released on the eve of Unitree's STAR Market listing. By reducing weight and increasing motor power, it demonstrates the limits of motion performance: in August 2025 a humanoid robot ran 4.78 m/s on the track, in April 2026 the H1 reached 10.1 m/s, and "Superman" pushes that further to 12.66 m/s. Unitree has not yet announced production plans for the machine.
